Chubby?!

Rant time: I just saw an ad for "gay chubby dating". Is that a term of affection now? If someone called me chubby I would be rather put-upon. And while I'm all for "to each his own" I don't quite understand that. If you like their personality cause they've had to face adversity cause of their size, then fine. Still weird but we'll roll with it. But it's not healthy, so why should we encourage it? Americans are so fucking baffling sometimes.
